Cleaning up the door/entrance of a '79 13' trillium

I'd like some suggestions as to how to best clean up the door entrance of our trillium.
When we got it, the previous owner had apparently attempted to install a D-seal on the door, but gave up and pulled it all off. You can see the raw edge of the two fibreglass shells, and the ensolite has pulled a little in a few spots where it should meet the door.
Is there such a D-seal or the like that exists that will work on a trillium? Because of the two shells some places the thickness is almost an inch whereas in others it is much thinner at about a quarter inch.
The other issue is that at present there isn't a rubber seal at all. The space is filled with a stick on foam ribbon type thing.
Ideas?

I need help with our door to. Hopefully someone will come on and answer your question. Mine has a hole in it since the door thing that holds it back from slamming into the camper is gone. So when it slammed into the camper it made a hole. I think it's fiberglass so maybe a patch might work. ???
I saw some where someone took their door completely off the camper and repaired it. They said it was rotted and they took it off and got a 2x1 striping piece and cut it to fit and fixed their door. They said they had called to check on what the price would be for a repair and it was going to cost them 700.00 and they fixed it for 1.67 I believe it was.

Here is what I was referring to. I had to go find it again. I thought it was just so awesome! http://www.funkyjunkinteriors.net/20...or-repair.html

You can purchase the door seals from WWW.Trilliumtrailers.com located in Calgary.

If you use the search function on this site - drop down at the top - use the bottom google box for best results. You will find a number of threads re the door seals. To get you started here are a couple:

I found this :
Trim Lok Lock Seal 3 16 x 5 8" Bulb A Side Door Rubber Trailer camper RV | eBay

I'm wondering if this is what is used by trillium trailers, when making new or fixing old ones? My concern is that I need to be able to get the gasket to fit over a section that is near 1/2 inch or more in places.
