Cold weather in Florida?

What do folks in Florida do when it gets cold?
Apparently they knit a sweater for their FG trailer...
This one seen in Safety Harbor parked at the art center this week.

I think that may be the same one that popped up in one of the Scamp FB groups recently. There was no mention of it being part of an art exhibit, but that makes sense.

Now we’re left to decipher the artist’s message...

Since it’s Florida, perhaps a commentary on all the retired aunts and grandmas that sent you a new afghan every Christmas?

That's crochet, not knit.

Stay safe and well, all.

You see things that are different in Safety Harbor, nice but different little town.

And I thought it was knit-wit!

In these times, we can all use a little wit. Stay safe, Jon, and everyone else.

Crochet or knit?

Before we left Jekyll Island we saw several elderly gentlemen decked out in whites playing croquet at the historic island hotel. It did not appear that they were making any progress on a Scamp sweater so maybe they needed to knit their brows and study harder before each shot?

Hunkered down here at home and after we finish unpacking and tidying up the Escape from our 4+ month ~6K trip we will be working on entertaining ourselves. Not too hard after 25+ years of living in the jungles of Belize w/o TV and restaurant/bar 10+ miles away. Not to mention 3 hour drive one-way through the bush to go grocery shopping once a month where shelves were normally only half full.

We discovered early on that DW and I are "somewhat" compatible.
Unlike many couples that would head off to work in different directions we had 25+ years of 24/7 togetherness. As we went off into the bush and worked together on habitat/critter research the only changes were sometimes I was her field assistant other times she was mine depending on whether we were working on her big cat project or my bat project or our mutual park, corridor or protected areas planning projects.

Good recipe for full timing ;-)

Here at least roads are dry albeit 19°F temps.

Stay healthy all.
