Custom Interior

I've been looking for different ideas as to what to do to my Scamp 19' interior. I found some really cool ideas for aluminum's like the one pictured. Are there any really good sites for fiberglass trailer interiors? Not that this isn't a good site I'm just not seeing a whole lot of really cool custom stuff.

One thought about the "Brand A" trailer pic; that is one big, heavy trailer. And I'm sure that cost was not a concern for whoever commissioned it. I realize I'm making an assumption - but I'll bet $0.02 that the work was not done by the owner. Though I agree - it is stunning.

My narrow minded opinion - I have huge admiration for the innovative restorations and mods posted on this site, like Robert Johans' TEP shop, among others. For me, the trick is to take a modest fiberglass unit and turn it into something with a bit of class while preserving its lightweight and moderate cost (when compared to Brand A) virtues.

Because it's so darn functional, there's nothing wrong with rat fur. Having said that, I'm currently experimenting with vinyl upholstery glued over closed cell foam - an idea I've stolen from Kevin61
( http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...r-41679-3.html ).

I hope to have some pics to post in the next few weeks.

I LOVE seeing the variety of trailer interiors that people come up with. I'm mostly interested in the decorating aspects as opposed to the heavy-duty remodeling. I have found some great postings at www.pininterest.com. Look up "Glamping-Trailer Interiors" or simply "Trailer Interiors". You will be occupied for a lonnnnnngggg time looking at these beauties. Also look at the website for "Sisters on The Fly". In their photo gallery you will see vintage trailers that have been decked out by the members. Sisters On The Fly

Steve, there's a thread just for you! Don't look at each post as an entirety, but bit and pieces. http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ors-25341.html What you're asking... is not so much as an entire change to the interior (cabinet changes, etc.) but "decorating."

Are you a person that likes "art deco"? Maybe raspberry, black and chrome, or NASCAR... you get the idea?

Flooring, upholstery, window coverings, throw pillows, etc. etc. etc. make your trailer uniquely your own!

I've never seen two trailers exactly the same... no matter brand or model.

Exactly what are you looking for?

Thanks guys, lots of good suggestions. Because it is just the two of us I'm going to do a sofa similar to what is in the pic. I have all the room a 19' has to offer with few of the constraints as far as sleeping arrangements, basically I have a blank canvas. Rather than a cushion back I'm considering upholstering the back/wall of the couch, the entire "radius" in a tuck and roll.
