Custom wheels on Ventura 400d

Good morning everyone! First time posting. I just got a 76 Ventura 400d and doing a complete restoration on it. I am pulling with a 71 Dodge Boogie van that has Crager SS rims. I'm wondering if there is anyone on here that has run a 14 inch rim on one of these trailers? If so pics and what tires did you use?

Thanks in advance!

Rene

the standard 14" trailer tire size is ST205/75-14... these can be had in load range B,C,D, guessing C is probably appropriate for a Ventura (thats like a Boler, isn't it?). I don't know what bolt pattern your trailer has, but its standard to run wheels with 0 offset for trailers, aka ET 0. The table at etrailer suggests you can run those tires on 5-6.5" wide rims, I'd probably stick with the middle of that range.

Goodyear Endurance are supposed to be very good trailer tires, thats what I've decided I'm going to get next time. They come in load range D (at 65 PSI), but if your trailer is lighter, you run a little lower pressure like I run 50 PSI, which is 1,760 lbs per tire, suitable for a single axle 3500 lb gross trailer.

Looks great! When do we get to see it hitched to the ‘71 Dodge Boogie van?

Beautiful! What's under the hood- 318 perhaps? Are you going to paint the Ventura to match at some point?
