Dometic FanTastic Vent 3350 Install - 1976 Trillium 1300

Hi there,
I'm new to this group. I just purchased a 1976 Trillium 1300 with mostly original parts.
I would like to change out the vent fan to the Dometic FanTastic Vent 3350.
Does anyone know if this is a direct swap?

Thanks in advance.

It will depend on what is there now. You may have to enlarge the hole in the roof. It will also depend on if you want to mount it flush to the inside of the roof. If yes, you may need a spacer to go on the outside of the trailer on top. Pictures of what you have in the trailer now would help.

The Trillium 1300 in 1976 came with a 9" vent. The fan in your link fits a 14" vent hole. Have you considered the Maxxfan Deluxe? It can be opperated in the rain:

Correct, no it’s not a direct swap and if you enlarge the hole in the roof, the nice raised flange around the vent will be gone. Some report roof sag too (Trillium roofs are very thin).

If I was going to install one, I’d keep the factory vent and put the new vent over the bed area.
