Egg Camper owners, a question

Have you done anything about a screen for your emergency escape window? I contacted Jim Palmer about it and he said the window supplier does not make a screen for it. We've thought about mosquito netting or fiberglass screen attached with velcro. Any other ideas? Sure be nice to have an open window at each end of the bed plus a window that could stay open in a fairly hard rain. Thanks

We seldom open the windows. We just leave the door open and turn roof vent on.

I made one for mine, took a sliding window screen which fit the opening and then cut a piece of foam across the top to keep bugs out. I propped the window open with a prop. It's strange but works. They do make escape awning windows with screens and I contemplated replacing mine with new ones, but sold the trailer instead. My new trailer has 6 awning windows with screens on all 4 sides.

If I remember correctly form the one time I opened that window, it has a gasket that must be carefully re-positioned every time you open and close it. It might not be much of a hassle, but wasn't something I wanted to do on a regular basis.

No moveable gasket in my 2007, maybe in the newer model?
