Eggs in High Places
It has been two months since the last post to the "Rigs" thread. It was always one of my favorites, but until now, I didn't have a photo that was worthy.

But Craig, You missed. This isn't the Rigs thread!! :conf. You must have hit the new topic button and not the new reply button. The pictures are still great. :banana Looks like a fun trip. The one with the trees is my fav, but then that snow one is really 'cool'. and all that is in Colorado? :reye2 wow.

Eggs in High Places
Chester, Thomas and Janifer,
I am almost sure that I clicked on the "New Reply" button. I had arrived at the "Rigs" thread from a search and something went wrong. It was not my intention to start a new thread. I was hoping that you could move it but on second thought, maybe others will post photos of "Eggs in High Places". I remember one of Longs Peak from Estes Park, another from Salmon Glacier near Hyder, Alaska and several from Jasper and Banff in the Canadian Rockies. I love mountain scenery and would like to see more of places that I have been and places that I would like to visit.

Here's a shot of us at Meat Cove Camping, at the top of Cape Breton National Highlands, Nova Scotia.
That first step to the beach is a doozy ... but going down is a lot easier than going up!

Beach
Charles,
I'll bet that you didn't go for a swim while you were there.

Charles... that shot of your rig in Nova Scotia just reminds me too much of Lucy and Desi and their movie The Long, Long Trailer....

Sorry! It was my fault.
I missed the note from Mary that the Rigs thread was all filled up and to reconvene in the Rigs II.

Wearever you meant to post, I am glad you posted here! The pictures are beautiful. Bill worked up the Red Mountain pass several years ago.
'First step to the beach.' The picture is really nice. Although, the thought of the first step made me sort of woozy.

Been there...
We drove that high road in Colorado a few years ago, when we were visiting with friends who lived near there.
Our old van had a hard time at the high altitude, then after I parked so we could get out and enjoy the view at the summit, I couldn't get her started again. Finally made it down, but I don't think I'd go up there again in an older vehicle (without fuel injection and electronic engine controls, anyway!)
Now we have a new Dodge Dakota (Magnum 318 engine) pulling our little Burro, we might have to do that again!
Lovely pictures, but then, how could one take BAD pics in such a beautiful :E place?
