Elephant skin alternatives

I've seen at least one other person who used reflectix and outdoor carpeting but I'm wondering what other creative ideas have come up with. I've been thinking about cork tiles similar to what you would use for a floor Cork Wall Tiles, Cork Ceiling Tiles, Cork Board Wall Tiles or possibly 1/2" thick wool tiles like F-11/13 Wool Felt, 1/2" Thick x 72" Wide - The Felt Company

My Boler was redone with cork rolls (similar to the cork boards), about 1/4 inch thick, 3 feet wide. It was left unpainted, with edge banding to cover the gaps.

It gives a different look, a bit more dark, but cosier.

It insulates well, we've camped in close to 0'C/32F and there was no condensation.

I'll try to post a picture of the interior.

Take a look at OZITE. It comes in several colors and a couple of textures.
It is light weight carpet, almost fabric but heavier than ratfur.

I like the cork, a lot. I would love to hear about the process of replacing the ensolate. Do the windows and furniture have to be removed before placing the new insulation (be it cork wall or ensolate)? Does the old elephant skin come off easy and in whole pieces so that it can then be used as a template to cut the new stuff?

Here are a few more picture. However, I haven't been able to take descent pictures with my phone.

Simone, I wish I could give you some details on how it was done, but it's the previous owner who did it. She apparently removed all furniture (except the closet), removed the ensolite, glued the cork and finely re-installed the furniture. She used iron-on edge banding to hide the seems.

As you can see in the last picture, the cork can stain. I haven't tried sanding it, but it should remove most of the stain.

Another thing, there is a smell in the camper. I don't know if it's from the cork, the glue used or some mold in the foam matttresses or under the windows. It does go away in the the summer when the sun hits the camper and the windows are opened.
