Fantastic Fan question

OK so I ordered a Fantastic Fan from AdventureRV. I wanted a basic model 8000 Create-a-breeze. What I received was unexpected. A model 8000RBT, so this unit has a thermostat and the reverse switch. Unit has a mfg date of 5/13 .. really new.

It appears the unit is a "High Profile" unit, the bottom part (goes in trailer) is only about an inch. But there are only 16 screw holes in this. I thought there were supposed to be 28 on high profile units. Should I be concerned? or are they simply being made this way now.

I can say my low profile has 16 screws. The less the better I think. Less holes to drill and areas for possible leakage. If you like everything else about it, shouldn't really matter. Sounds like you got more than you were expecting so that's great. These fans are great. I have the same Scamp as you do, and the new fan was a tremendous addition to the comfort level.

I know you have read it a hundred times but just in case NO silicone only butyl tape. You will find tons of threads on it.
Take some before and after progress pixs if you would.
