Fiber Stream Rear Bumper

Anyone have a source for a replacement Fiber Stream bumper or know of an alternative that would fit? Looks like an old AirStream bumper "might" fit...

Hi,
Where in California are you? I have a rear bumper but not sure I want to part with it.

Hi Eric,

I am in the Bay Area east of San Francisco. I removed the bumper on my Fiberstream and replaced it with a plastic square fence post from Lowes that would hold the sewer hose. I thought the hose tube on the front of the trailer was too small.

Are you making improvemets to yours or just have one without a bumper? I would think you could use a number of things for a replacemnt bumper, even make one out of wood. Teh original is made of fiberglass and not very strong.

Thanks Steve

I'm doing a frame off restoration. Currently I have a steel bumper but I'm trying to get it back to more of an original look. I may just stick with steel, sounds like the original fiberglass bumper probably isn't a good option.

Hi Eric,

I would interested to see pictures of what your are doing and the results.
I don't think there are many that have been restored to that level.
