Fiberstream frame

Hi,
I have a 1978 Fiberstream. Need to make repair or up grade frame and axles. I am looking for referrals in Milwaukie oregon.

You might get some good referals from Six Robblees. They are very close to Milwaukee and they sell lots of axle and brake parts. They sell parts to the shops that do what you are looking to have done. I bought an axle from them and installed it myself, but when I picked it up, there several customers at the counter that had shops specializing in what you are looking for. Good luck.

Any luck with frame and axles? We are about to do a 1" add to our frame to strengthen and stiffen it up. It will be the right time to change axles too, as I know our brakes and bearings have a limited life.

I'm always glad to learn from someone else's experiences.

Same here - would love to see what others have done with frame updates and what spec they are using for replacement axles.



I want to stregthen our frame but not do it as a "body off frame" project. Wanting to scab it onto the sides of the existing tubes and to extend our hitch a bit for more storage.
