Nifty curtain system the mrs came up with:
She found these clips and then the rings to slip over the dowel rod curtain rod and hold these patterned linen napkins as curtains.

Nice Work! I'm thinking new floor next year too!
So just out of curiosity, are you doing a dark shade to keep the evil daystar out in the morning?

Looks great. I love the wood. I'm not much for curtains--not because I don't like them. I like blinds as the dogs leave them alone. I would love to have an insulated curtain at the door for wintertime.
The map is very clever and brightens things up.

Really Nice Work!
I'm a big fan of re-purposing stuff....why by new if you can reuse something that you already have?

Floor looks fantastic. Makes me want to change mine. I have to keep the vinyl though. It make not look great but it is easy to sweep out and I'd worry about water getting under the wood. I'll probably just caulk the edges of my plain looking vinyl floor and lust after everyone else's floors.

Newest addition: framed map of our road trip venture last summer - 4300 miles in10 days - that started this whole 'scamp thing' when we passed one on the freeway
