Getting rid of Scamp TV antenna

I would like to get rid of the Scamp TV antenna. What do I do with the hole left in the roof? Is there some plug or factory device to fill the gap?

You could put in a Fantastic Fan vent. But you will have to run power to it. Or get a round piece of alumunum plate for the top and cut a round piece of oak for the cieling and screw the plate through the roof into the wood circle.

Hi Dudley, welcome to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here.

I've used Marine epoxy successfully in plugging holes in my trailer. It's available just about everywhere, I bought it at a big box store.

I took the spare off the back and plugged the bolt holes, plus took the stinky slinky tube came off the front of the trailer and plugged the rivet holes there. This stuff is mixable white, sandable, paintable and waterproof:

The tv antenna had been removed by the previous owner of my trailer and they just used a round piece of aluminum plate as Eddie suggest and used small screws and **a lot** of caulking to seal it - on the inside all they did was put in a patch of rat fur. After a couple of years it was not nice to look at and its water tightness was becoming questionable.

I also installed a Fantastic Fan in that location. I had a light over the back table already that had to go in order to fit the fan in but that was a good thing as I used what had been its power to feed the fan. As far as I am concerned adding the Fantastic Fan was the best mod I have done to the trailer to date.
