Hi,
Have an 87 Scamp 5th wheel. Thought we might do a little updating. Any suggestions. I have spent time inside brainstorming how we might take out the dinette in back, to make comfortable seating. Table is optional. Could use trays. I know the water tank is there to stay. And on the other side, at least a compartment or small cabinet or end table would be needed to store elect. cord.
I was considering using 2 of Casitas swivel captains chairs. Not sure they will fit. Or one very SHORT couch!. Then maybe another cabinet or storage over the water tank.
Any thoughts?
Seems we could be able to add a larger fridge. And of course a new floor covering is something I might like.
Any color themes to go with that grey on the walls? Needs curtains and some splash!
It is a sound unit, and new ones go for an arm and a leg! And then there is the wait!
Be creative! Any suggestions to help us out??
Anybody out there ever done some remodeling on one of these?
Thanks for any ideas!!

I've pondered the idea of removing the table putting another box for a bench where the table sits and making a U shaped couch with extra storage. The finding some of those little desks that pull out of the sides of the chairs in lecture halls and attaching them to the side cabinets for tables or extended counter space.

Then again I've also been considering putting those in the front of my 13'er.

Easy to convert back into a bed, while giving increased storage, space and functionality.

Hi,

None of the above. It is a deluxe, and the new brochure shows it as layout B. Toilet and shower in front, then stove across from door, counter space, then undercounter fridge. Closet is to left of door, then sink. Steps to bed. Hope this helps.

Hi Roy!
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll go out and take another look, and "try on" your suggestions!
