Help: is it possible/ practical to relocate the toilet in a 1983, 17’, Bigfoot traile

Has anyone ever tried, (successfully), removing the sink from their unit and moved the toilet into that corner? I’m not a small guy and would really appreciate a little more knee room. I don’t mind loosing the sink if it gets me a more spacious seat

PS. This is my first post. If I’ve screwed up, please forgive me.

Is this the gaucho layout with rear corner bath or the center bath? Either way, moving the toilet seems like a difficult modification because the black tank is usually right under the toilet and drains through a hole in the floor. With wet baths, the enclosure is often molded to fit around the tank. The frame or other under-floor parts could interfere with your desired location.

It has the rear corner bath. And yes, I imagine it would take a fair bit of modification. Just thought I’d put feelers out there to see if anyone has done it. This would definitely be a next summer project as temperatures are dipping below freezing and will only get colder, ( minus 40 C is on its way). My only other big modification/ repair is to rip out the ceiling and redo the supports. It’s a little wavy on the roof. Any sure fire ways of fixing that would also be greatly appreciated.

You would be much better off finding a trailer that suits you better. Moving the tanks is a herculean job, if it can be done at all, depending on the chassis structure underneath.
