Hi,

My husband and I just purchased a1999 Burro and would like to put an awning on it. Any ideas on what fits? Is Burro out of business? I don't find their company on a google search.
Thanks for any help,
Diane

No, not in Orono, that was a 13 ft, we went to MA. Does anyone know if any awning fits FGRV, or are they individualized to each manufacture/ model of camper?

We put a Shademaker bag awning on our 13' Uhaul. If you go that route, get the "Supreme" model NOT the Classic. That i3' Burro was just down the road from our son's house.

Where do you get that awning? Does it include any hardware for attaching it to the Burro? Mine doesn't have anything to attach it to and I get nervous when anyone talks about drilling holes.

Thanks!

Some people stick Command hooks on their trailers and hang tarps on the hooks. Simple, inexpensive. Just another option for you.

Much as I love 3M Command hooks, I don't think they would work that well for that application. You would have to get the ones intended for use in a shower, since they would be exposed to the weather. And, the hook part slips over the adhesive part so there is only gravity to keep the hook part in place. You'd have to remove the hooks for travel.

We bought our Shademaker bag awning from Interwest Sports. Go to shademakerproducts.com, then click on "where to buy" and a list of dealers will come up. You'll have to put an awning rail on your trailer. There are various opinions in a previous thread as to how to do it.
