After using my new-to-me
Parkliner trailer for it's first long weekend trip, my wife and I realized one of the improvements that we needed to make; holding open the upper storage doors. Was a bit of a pain to keep having the doors flop down when loading things in or for getting out stuff.
I searched on the forum and found a good post about someone adding in long springs to keep the doors open (how it's done on boats), but i decided to install some small 8" gas struts. To mount them I bought some angled ball stud brackets to attach to the lip around the opening.

Works great.
