Home built collar for rm2193 fridge?

I'm looking for some examples of a collar or trim to fill in the gaps around our rm 2193 fridge. I'd appreciate pics of your solution.

We have to fill 2 inches of height and width. The new fridge sticks out about 4 inches.

So 2 x 4 would fill the gap but curious about finishing options to make it look good. Thanks for your help in advance.

I reframed the cut-out with 3/4" stripping ripped to size and secured through the edges with 2 1/2" x #8 trim screws & Gorilla Glue. I then covered the entire wall section with adhesive backed Vinyl wall covering material from an RV surplus store (not Wal-Mart stuff, it won't take the heat. Been in place for almost 2 years. This is also an RM-2193.
