How much Bondo-Glass for a Belly Band

This is a question for anyone who has removed and filled in the belly band on their Trillium. I have a 4500 and I am going to use bondo glass that I am hoping to get at an automotive shop. How much would you suggest that I buy?

I got it at Walmart in the auto parts section. I used two containers full (bought one at a time). Comes in one quart size. I'd just buy one, use it and if you need more, get a second one. I used regular Bondo over the Bondo glass to do the finish work.

No need to pay more at a specialty shop, at least here in the USA. I would think Walmart Canada should carry too.

Thanks for the information. I've never worked with bondo-glass before. I am hoping that I can use any remaining material to patch a leaking canoe. I'll have to research that also! if I don't cover the belly band repair with a layer of straight bonds will it leave 'hairs'?

With my amateur technique, I found the surface rougher with the Bondo glass than with regular Bondo.
