How to attach plywood strip above windows in my boler

I am sure I found it on here. Some one had peeled back the ensolite and put in a strip of plywood above the window all way around the interior from closet to cupboards on other side. Trying to find how this was done, so I can put in new curtain rod holders and screw things to it without going through the fiberglass.

Can't help with what you're looking for.

So maybe something like this? Click image for larger version

Or if you have overhead cabinets, like this? Click image for larger version

Because you definitely don't want to punch holes through the shell for curtain rods!

A couple strips of fiberglass mat and some resin would take care of that very well. This idea has been holding our small flat screen tv on the wall for years.

Thank you Donna. I wish I had cabinets at the back I would be able to do the 2nd option. Would like the rods to go further than the windows of 1st option. but thank you for your suggestions.

Thank you Fred. That is what I was thinking. But would like to curve it round the corners that is the part I am not sure about.
