insulation or wires first

my Scamp is really on hold until I find a few other things I need but in the meantime I must ask... Do you insulate then add wiring or do you add wiring then insulate over wires? If I could insulate first I could get a little accomplished this week.

If it were me, I would insulate the parts that will not have wiring first then make a decision on what to do next.

In general you will wire then close it up.
Why would you cover things ad then try to figure out how to get behind them?

Never seen it any other way and I have been wiring for 35 years, man am I getting old.

I think, you thought right. Wires do go first.

Not sure what you mean by that. I ran wires, completed finishing the walls then installed the electrical components.

Wire first! You'll need to run wire under the insulation... like around the back and up over the ceiling. Why would you want to insulate then need to fish wire? Sometimes fishing wire is just enough to cause the insulation glue to let go... then you'd need to reglue. Make it easy on yourself, wire first.
