Look thru the photos on the Yahoo-Scampers site; at
least one of the
Boler or
Trillium owners has done exactly that. Reduces choices on where
to put the Porta-Potti, however. I full-time in my
Scamp and use both the upper and lower bunks for
storage and some open space.

I haven't done it, but being fundamentally lazy, I
would just cut the carpet at all the bases and then
use quarter-round molding nailed/screwed to the floor
to finish the edges and cover my mis-cuts in the
vinyl.

I think Scamp has them; call and ask for the repair
and accessory parts list to be mailed to you (it's
free). They are certainly an option on some new
Scamps.

I think it's the other way around, the trailer gets
some needed stiffnes (diagonally, side-to-side, from
the galley, bunks, and closet.

Shop around for appliance prices as they vary quite a
bit. Not sure where you are, but for example, there's
an RV parts dealer (new, used and dealer over-stock)
in Brandon FL, Tom's RV, who I accidently discovered
would cut a good deal on appliances they would order
for you from a wholesale catalog they have.

I just took out the city water on my '91 S13; leaked,
pain to fix, only used it once anyway. I made a towel
holder to fill the hole in the galley top.

I'm going to eventually post this on Yahoo-Scamp,
etc., as it may be of interest to others.
