Key Keeper for Keeps

Made my own trout-themed key Keeper. Cut it out of a piece of cedar fence and went from there. Less expensive and more rewarding than products I researched. Click image for larger version

Nice!! We put up a piece of oak with a few coat hooks, a little further up the wall than your fish hook (pun intended).

Within minutes of installing it, we were using it and continue to do so. When we come in for the night, or we're going to be in camp for a few days, we hang the keys to the tow vehicle. This way, we're not sticking them in a pocket and then forgetting where they are, or worse..my better half has a habit of locking his keys in the car.

For that matter, we have a similar hook bar right by the door to the house. (inside) of course. so our ritual is: enter the house, put keys on the hook, remove jackets and footwear and then do whatever. Again, this means no searching for keys, etc.

I like this idea! I'm always misplacing my keys when camping and, as an avid fisherman, this is an awesome solution.
