Hi my friends!
In this topic I introduce you my Lander 401S.

It's a oldie caravan (it was born in the '80) and the interior was renowal last year (new covering pillow, curtain, ecc.).

I send you some pics before the work...

this is the plan...

warm and inviting. The wood is very nice, and your color combos fit well.

Those Landers are sure pretty inside, even the stock ones.

Hello Scamp, Casita, Oliver, Escape, Etc. are you listening?

Susy,

Very beautiful! Grazie.

I'm always amazed at the simple beauty and quality of the woodwork in European/British caravans. It's quite lovely, and I notice how they take care to make it as thin an lightweight as possible, but still very functional.

In contrast, our older fiberglass eggs are rather "crude" in their furnishings. That's not to say that they don't work well for camping, because they do. They're also very affordable on account of the ease of assembly. But when I see your Lander, or an Eriba, I always marvel at the woodwork and the overall level of finish.

I like your new decorating, too. Looks very cozy.

At this purpose, in our forum, we are thalk about USA fiberglass eggs (as Casita, Scamp, or Burro)... I like they very much ( I love fiberglass caravan in general), but I have noticed that italian people, in general, loved another kind of caravan, more warm, with much wood, and classical exterior in alluminium.

Anyway, there are more people that loved Lander in Italy, as in Germany or Holland (where have been even founded various fan club of this brand), perhaps because it joins quality of fiberglass trailer, and italian style in the interiors...

But there is a defect: unfortunately lander has been finished to produce in 1985!!!

In Italy there are few people that use a caravan to travel... Majority used a caravan fix in a camp site, and free camping is forbitten.
We are a minority!
In Italy there are even only motorhome in the street... and no more caravan.
I don't know why. Also because in the rest of Europe, caravans are more diffused than motorhome.

p.s.
I use to tell "caravan" for trailer... I have noticed that you used the noun "camper" that in italian language it means motorhome

BTW: to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here!

Lander's are few and far between for us. Do you have any pictures you'd like to share? Maybe instead of adding to Miss Suzy's thread, you'd like to start one of your own?

Italian German Landers are beautiful, I just learned their name today even though european friends told me about them months ago without naming it. Now look at this 2016 SeaLander, I wonder if it has the same european company roots.
