Years ago, when FiberglassRV.com was just getting going, Lanny Webb undertook the most complete reno I can remember ever seeing. He was gracious (and enthusiastic about FiberglassRV.com) enough to post a log of his process here. Alas, when our site was hacked in November 2005 (I think that was the date), we lost all of Lanny's photos. We were able to recover his descriptions, though.

Now, it seems, Lanny is thinking of selling his beloved 1986 Casita. He asked us to dig through the archives and find these old discussions. And so, without further ado, voila!

Here's the beginning:

In the beginning...

And:

Stage two...

And:

Stage three...

And, an epilogue, of sorts:

THANKS!!! Mary, This is a huge help. By looking at the text I can see what the files were tagged and search with that criteria. I think I can rebuild these from there. If I can get them back together with photos do you think I should repost them? If so as a new post or in reply to this thread?

I think reposting the photos in reply to this thread would do the trick.

Thanks Frederick,
Will do, I worked on them last night and with the help of what Mary found, I was able to search and find the images to match. I also discovered a number of other progress stages and additional modifications with text and pictures I never posted. I'd forgotten I'd kept so many records of the processes. May be way more than most folks want to attempt but I've always done everything in overkill mode. I'll put them up as well. The more I look at all the love and labor I put into her, the sadder I'm getting. Oh Well, live goes on, I get older. I hope the latter doesn't interfere with the former.

Hi Lanny,

Your renovation sounds great - my interest is picqued!

Maybe your "overkill" is someone else's "doing the job right," who knows

Thanks for taking the time to resurrect the thread; I wasn't here to see it the first time around.
