Let's See You Art and Decor...

We are planning the look of our future (November!) Casita and would like to see you favorite piece of art or decoration in your camper. This is purely a form over function piece.

We are looking at a national park poster, but I know there are some more great ideas out there.

i made a thin steel mounting surface that is attached to the bath door in my casita. using magnets (tiny "rare earth" magnets) i have a place for trip photos, gandkids pics, etc. i like being able to change the show every now and then. i got the steel from a local metal shop and the magnets online (google rare earth magnets).

have fun with that new casita. you made a great choice!

We collect decals

We wanted our wee Trillium Outback to remind us of the great places we have travelled in it. We decided to use all gelcoat surfaces (inside only) as "sticker boards" and collected stickers/decals as we travelled around North America. Here are a few pics showing stickers from Vancouver Island to Texas to Florida to New England and across the country. Our trailer has been to every state and has allowed us to be able to travel and visit every Major League Baseball park, many minor league ones, many Civil War Memorials and many many other places we would probably forget about if it wasn't for the stickers we see every time we enter the trailer :-) :-) :-)Click image for larger version

I really like this cabinet support I forged. I think it's my favorite part of Lita.

Okay okay it is functional but that's not why I like it
