Looking for a thread..Help

I've been trying to find a thread I seen a while back. The owner had modified the outside toilet vent where he set it up so water could be flushed in from the outside to help clean the black tank on a Scamp. Anyone remember it? Thanks Ted

Ted not sure how your black water tank gate is set up but on mine it goes straight up to the tank so I can simple use a water wand and stick it up into the tank to flush it right out.

There is also the Hydro Flush attachment that some folks swear by.

Black water tank flush- the ez way

I removed the screen in the black water vent on the outside of the trailer. I then put a water house in and flush. I use a sink strainer screen pointing back into the trailer in the vent line. After I removed the existing vent screen assembly I put a electrical cord cover it, like the 110 cord access for your trailer.
Works for me.
I had pictures in my earlier post

Frank most trailers have vent on the black tank/toilet - got to think there is a reason for that.

Are you not concern about having blocked the vent with the solid cover and the impact that may have on the black water/toilet?
