Loud AC fan thought , question

I have a 13 foot scamp with a Brisk Air II. As we all know it is too loud in such a small space. I am considering installing an Easy Start now that they are on sale to reduce the Thump and vibration on startup. However this is only part of the noise issue. The fan is extremely loud even on low setting. I’m wondering about a way to slow the fan more. Swap the three speed switch for a four way speed switch? Maybe a better solution would be to install a PMW controller for variable seed control? I know some have had issues with these units frosting up on low fan but I’m in Minnesota where summers get hot but humidity in not enough to have ever frosted my AC even on low and I’m sure I have leeway to slow the fan more. Any thoughts on this? Any electrical experienced members able to offer some thoughts?
