Mattress Size --Standard or Custom ??

Hello !!!

Based on Steve Colli bed modifcation in a previous subject.
Cut out piece of plywood for rear bed (2000, 16' Scamp) to eliminated "V". What is the size of the mattress that can be used??
Is there a standard size that can be purchased ??
or does it need to be custom ??

:wave Hello!

Most of the mattress are custom in one way or another, but there are as many options as there are trailers out there. Personally, I use the cushions that came with it, but I added a fiber filled featherbed with a high loft matress pad on top of that. It doesn't get any more comfortable than that....especially on a cold night with a duvet on top....:bed.

Some use futons...some have custom mattress made....it's just all in what your personal preference is.
