This arrangement allows 2 people their own bed and no table needs taken down. If
Casita uses these mods I want my cut! The side dinette becomes a couch in the day and bed at night. The quilt is sown so that it tucks under the cushions in the day. Untuck it at night and it has your top & bottom sheet already sewn in. It also has egg crate and extra padding built in.
The small dinette table from the side is moved to the back where the large dinetee was and only insetred in the front post hole. This table will now swivels, allowing access to each side and the back for seating. The center two cushions for the back bed were cut and the covering resewn to fit the singe width bed at the back. Then a table addition was made of curly maple to slide onto the back of the existing table, which adds support & additional table length. A 3/4" dense core plywood was used in the middle for each bed. Table addition is taken off at night and table swiveled 180 degrees to allow for sleeping in the back at night. Cover, sheet and matress on back bed are rolled in the day and used as a back rest when seated at the table. Just untie and roll out for quick bedding. All this done so that Ed can get up early & have a table & seating for his morning cup of tea while Marje lingers in bed! These mods can be seen (and may be more easily understood!) at Emily Provinicial Park
Rally in two weeks, Marje & I hope to see you there!
