More mods: a/c window install, microwave shelf

Air conditioner install consists of 3 pieces. Shelf rests on window ledge (routed out a little channel to sit on the ridge of the window), 2 little hinged feet rest on belly band of Perris Pacer, 3rd piece of wood goes inside camper and is bolted to outside piece, making it nice and stable. So far, duct tape seals the openings. Can't find something we like that works better.
(Holes are for drainage.}

Microwave shelf is just board (wraped in vinyl) with hinged leg. Leg fits between couch cushions. Edge of shelf rests on edge of cabinet by the burners. I drilled a hole in the corner of the shelf and in the fiberglass counter, and just drop a bolt thru the holes to secure it. It needs another hole/bolt on the other edge of the shelf, or I may go to velcro.

You bought the same micro that I just picked up ($39 at Wallyworld?) I am going to do a similar AC install next spring using an of the shelf window AC bracket.

Thanks Jim!

Believe it or not---the a/c is in the side window---that's the beauty of a Perris Pacer---it has that BIG side window, and we simply opened it! Slid the glass and the screen to the right and had a nice big opening for the unit.

And then the a/c is just plugged in the outlet on the side of the kitchen counter.
