My new refrigerator...can you see it?

My old 3-way Dometic refrigerator finally bit the dust. I replaced it with a magic Chef 110-volt dorm size refrigerator.

Can you see it? White was the only color they had and when I installed it, it just looked too sterile I wanted some color. I also do license plate art so I decided to get creative.

I wanted to use multi colored older rusty license plates but I hated to cut them up so I used new flat Tennessee plates instead, which I have plenty of. I covered the front of the cabinet first then I decided to go ahead and cover the front of the refrigerator also. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the refrigerator disappeared.

It's probably not everybody's cup of tea but I like the look.
I also posted a picture of the sign I made for my camper.

Now to tackle the floor.

This is one the nice things about our little trailers. We can decorate them to make them our own. Enjoy for art.

Good for you! Make it your own, unique... one of one rather than one of many.

Fridge/cooler

We had to trash our old Dometic as well but wanted to keep the 12 volt capability without spending a fortune. Our solution was a Mobicool dual voltage. It fits nicely into the finished space where the fridge was and runs on the car's 12 volts on the road, in the car or in the camper and on AC at destination. No AC? I use ice in sealed containers. Now, if I could just come up with some nice artwork!

Donna, and all,
So true, that's one of the reasons we wanted an egg, one of one, not one of many. to me, all the new stick-builts look like clones.

NO ONE is going to confuse this license-plate art fridge with anyone else's rig! Or forget it, either, likely. wish I had any ideas that were half that unique!

I guess if these eggs were Borg, you could call them--well, One of One.

Actually, I like that a lot as a name for our trailer: One of One.

Cool Tennessee

My question is where did you get "new" Tennessee license plates and does Tennessee know you have them?

Did you reside somewhere that made license plates?

As a newbie, my question is: Where does one shop for a fridge that fits a Boler?

Warning: This won't be the last question that will sound very basic for you even though it eludes me... :-)

mine isn't a true "rv" refrigerator. It's just a small dorm size one that only works on 110v. I bought it at Home Depot.

It depends on your Boler. I am no expert, but I believe they used an RM24 or a an RM211. These are both fairly easy to find used. I would not pay more then $100, and they would have to prove it worked. This can be done by plugging it in for a day before you get there.
