My Porta Pottie Slide Out Mod

Got tired if the porta Pottie being in the middle of the floor and my dog has the spot under the dinette. Since I do drink beer when I camp, Pottie is a necessity

Had some cedar plywood left over from my closet shelves and cut it to make a drawer front. Bought a drawer handle screwed everything together after making pilot holes then added carpet furniture slides so it slides like butter in my carpet. Also put waffle liner under Pottie so it grips the surface better.

Now she can stay in sofa cubbie where she belongs and I can pull it out as needed. Voila!Click image for larger version

Looks nice. You might want to put some metal corner braces like these to keep the from panel from flexing. (Bass Drum)
STANLEY HEAVY-DUTY 4" CORNER BRACES

Sounds good. I thought about some angle aluminum L brackets for support but your suggestion is cleaner and neater. Trailers going into storage next week so I'll have to see if these are available at Home Depot or the like or it will be a spring project. A simple mod, but I love it and it makes going pee easier and more tucked away. Tee hee.

Cheers,
Wendy
