New floor, new fiberglass and new curtains!

Hello everyone! Winter is upon-and slows the camping down in our lives! Here are a few photos of repairs and upgrades we have completed so far! My husband made the table out of cedar-all new subfloor and tiles (instead of the nasty burgundy carpet), and I made the curtains!!

Very nice.

Is that a "de-luxe" Scamp? I'm familiar with the wooden cabinetry on the 13' but never seen it in a 16'. Looks very nice.

Also, is that a standard A/C install? Or one you did yourselves? Either way I (and perhaps others) would be very interested in seeing any photos showing the venting etc.

Nice. Love the look of the table. Gotta get my wife busy on curtains (drapes?) for our Egg Camper. Neither of us cares for the blinds.

Donna! Yes we are ! And making real good progress! My husband did his first time ever-working with fiberglass, and did a great job-we replaced the subfloor, clear to the frame-he had to seal the fiberglass to the floor. He also laid the tiles and made the beautiful table-he also made an extension, when we want to really "sprawl" out!
It was a "first" for me making my own curtains-found the material online, and fell in love with it! Next is new cushions (foam and all)-and new upholstery..then new rims and tires...the final big task will be a nice coat of paint for the exterior, and we will NOT be tackling that ourselves!

That looks to me that a refrigerator (4 or 5 cu.ft.) was removed from that cabinet and the air conditioner was mounted in front of the lower vent for the fridge.

Frederick-the original frig was replaced with a dorm size-we installed the a/c unit under the frig. It vents out the existing side vent, plus we have added a 9 inch fan at the top/back of the frig-a/c unit area to assist in venting. Works great so far-my husband built a tin "drain" for the condensation from the A/C.
