She is all finished! They are putting on the logo's today and will finish putting on the new trim lock on the doors and replace a few of the rivits with new washers.... then i will take it over to my RV shop and the awning will be put back on...
She looks sooooo nice now!!! I had to get another medium SCAMP logo as I had forgotton to tell them send 2 not one!
He also repaired the stress cracks and the dings too...

That paint job is very impressive! It would sure take a lot of polishing and waxing for "Nuestra Casita" to look like that.
I'd have to build a garage to store it in!
Now you'll have to get really dark sunglasses to handle the reflection in the sunlight!

Thanks guys.... I have to go get it this a.m... alittle on the nervious side ttho... it snowed here last nite.. ( just an inch if that) roads seem to be bare... Of all the days to get it!! I guess I will travel the back roads to the RV Shop... Hopefully most of it will be melted and gone by the time I get down there...
I am anxious to see it again with the logos' put back on etc...
wish i did have a garage now after its all 'new' looking.... I am still thinking one of those portable sheds again... Now that this has taken the last of my savings in referbishing this trailer... it should be all done!! everything has been replaced but the kitchen sink, friggie and the bathroom sink... ( they are all still in good shape so see no since in replacing them.
I just want to get it home and parked!!

Christi ....those portable shelters aren't 'all that'!! BE very careful what type you buy. Myself, knowing what I know of them NOW, I'd opt for one of those metal roofed ones.
I have a friend with a 'Costo Style' one who lives up near Black Mountain Ranch. His shelter collapsed under snow load (in that last dumping we had). In the shelter was a Model T hot-rod and a custom built T-Drop trailer. BOTH are ruined now!
The Trailer Goddess and I have a pair of them, one about 3 years older then the other. Every time it snows I need to go out 3 or 4 times a NIGHT (and/or day) to knock all the snow offa the roofs!! The older one has finally let go at the seams (this season) and replacing the covering is ALMOST as spendy as buying a complete shelter.
Oh, BTW .....we had another 6 inches starting yesterday morning and overnight! BEAUTIFUL clear sunny skys this morning, but more snow called for Sunday afternoon and off n on next week too!!!!
WHEN is 'IT' gunna end?
Up here in 'Gods Country', (southern B.C. an Washington) we just AREN'T used to this much snow.

Doug.. yes i had one before.... had to anchor it down good too.... I ended up having to pull the top off during some windy windy days ( 50 mph gusts) one yr.... City code doesnt really allow them up where I put mine, but nothing was ever said.. I may look into the metal ones and price them... right now I will be eating TV dinners for awhile...LOL
well its done! will get the awning on today and get it back home this afternoon or tomarrow..

Have you considered using the existing metal frame to run some 2x4's across and then screw down some of those corrogated FIBERGLASS panels?
