Opportunity for all egg owners?

I ran across a picture of an idea I think we could all use. Snapple (juice/tea drinks) was launching new flavors and decided to create this mobile stage in a Airstream Bambi. They drove it all over the country offering free hair dye jobs and free "Mohawk" haircuts, taste samples, etc. I am thinking, "HELLO! This looks a lot like my baby SUV and my Egg!" For the right price, I'll slap some logos on the sides and spend the rest of my LIFE traveling the country!

Unfortunately the web site did not have any really good shots of the whole vehicle and I don't have a scanner to get the print photo I have up here.

You can kinda see it in these shots though.

Now, I just need a lucrative sponsor...

Sponsors?

Eggland (the other "egg") or Hormel (eggs and bacon anyone?)...there's a thousand of 'em, just gotta hook 'em in...almost sounds like MLM?:dance

Ugh! The puns!

No MLM at all. Each of us just needs to go out and find a sponsor. There are services that does this for cars. They wrap your car in a vinyl advertisment. You can still see out, but they cover almost the whole car. Then they pay you like $400 a month to drive it around and hand out brochures. My guess is business has fallen off a bit since the dotcoms' precipitous slide. But, I still think (as a marketer) that this is a great idea! So, we just need to find some sponsors who are willing to do the same for our trailers.

Well, if anyone comes knocking on my door, I'll send them to you, JR. I just can't see myself doing that. It might draw too much attention. and you know I don't like that. that's why I got such a bland colored car and trailer. :duck

Jana, you are so modest!

However, if anyone comes my way with an offer for several hundred a month to advertise a product I am not ethically opposed to, I'll jump on it. Hey, if they'll make my car payment so I can keep driving around forever, I'll go for it! :thumb

Might be hard to park with the Snapple bottles sticking out the top though!

Not everything in my life has a price, but my pride sure does!

Twinkie

You are half way there Jana! All you gotta do is paint the top half yellow and tell everyone the middle is filled with artificial goo.

Paid to travel

The more I think about it, the more I think I could go along with this.

What I found on my most recent sojourn is that no matter how much you try not to draw attention, these little cuties do it anyway. So ... why not make the most of it?

I'm actually a perfect candidate. I still haven't decided what decals I'm going to put on mine, so I'm open for suggestions.

Okay. What about this?

For local jeweler, maybe: Good things come in small packages. Buy diamonds!

or

Travel lite. Pack Right. Use Samsonite

So....whad'a'ya think?

Well, it took me awhile to figure out where I remembered it from (it was in the Jokes section!) And I still had to search it this a.m. to find it.

But our Search feature's great! If you can figure out what terms to go looking for... :wak

Took my egg to the Spam museum in Austin Minn. They agreed it is the perfect shape for a can of Spam. Mine is a Scamp 13'. Any good artists out there?
