We chose a split door with trim to tie it together with the belly band.

SWEET! I love the half-and-half look. Otherwise, (to me) it looks like.. OMG "Gladys the door is damage, look I have a white one here in the barn... I'll put it on."

Somehow that all white door doesn't "fit."

And, it's not like anyone who doesn't know the history of an "old" molded towable knows the difference... the all white door.. just doesn't "fit." YMMV

Soo... maybe that would automaticaly tell you.. there is a maintenance issue? Pay attention to the needs of your all molded towable. It's an asset!

I just painted mine and all the bottom half including the bottom half of the door is now Black and the top half is Silver Gray. I like this look better, but see many with the door all 1 color.
A better question might be, how many paint the bottom half of the door the same color as the top half of the door, or do they paint the top half of the door the same as the bottom half of the door. <grin>

I love the silver stripe to look like the belly band.

Since my Burro splits side to side rather than top to bottom, should I paint the right side red and the left side green like navigation lights? What about door color on that?

Froggie (with too much time on my hands! )

If you paint the door the same color as the side it is on you may never be able to find it. LOL
