Post pics of your Boler replacement blinds.

I am putting the finishing touches on my Boler 1700RG. I'm currently using cheapo vinyl roller blinds from Home Depot, but I don't love them. I've removed the OEM curtain rods and would love something a bit nicer that attaches on the bottom of the window because the windows are at a bit of an angle. What have you replaced your blinds with?

Boler Curtains

You can see what we've done on our 1300 using fabric with a darkening backing. We have a clip at the bottom to hold the curtains against the angle of the walls - https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...ler-90495.html

Nice work Steve! Love the mounting brackets. I also love your cabinetry. Is that baltic birch? I used in in my 1700 but it warped pretty quickly on the doors. I'm also curious about your latches. Are they stock from Boler or aftermarket? And lastly, did you freehand those radius corners? They are 👌🏻

Thank you.
It's not Baltic, a 3/16" birch plywood, but I added strips to the edges to make it look thicker and prevent warping. They've been great for 3 to 4 seasons now.
The hardware is the standard Boler stuff for '79. The Misses spend hours cleaning off the paint of a previous owner.
The corners? Yes, just freehand with a sabre saw.

Nice work! Did you layer the 3/16 birch on top of the edge pieces or is it an inlay. It looked like a solid piece on the front in the photos.

It is supposed to look solid. Strips of the same birch are glued to the inside surface of the doors, a wider strip where the hinges are fastened. Corners and edges are finished after gluing, which is followed by paint or varnish.

Nice! One final question, did you use any joints on the back pieces or are they just butted up against each other and held by glue?

Correct, just glued and butted on the back.
