Well I took the plunge - and decided to add some color to the inside of the egg - what better than an egg yellow? Well it's turned into a nightmare. There was a good primer - but the paint wouldn't cover... I used a whole gallon! Ran out - I have one drawer someone is working on so I went to get another quart and the paint guys told me who ever mixed the gallon did it wrong and only put enough tint for a quart... No wonder why it didn't cover. 3 days of wasted time.!!

Any way - it's a yellow now that matches the yellow in the fabrics.
So I'm now trying to decide on curtain treatments and flooring.
Option one for curtains is a print with several colorful rich colors of postcards. The second thought I'm considering is to take my old jeans (that don't fit) and take them apart - and make curtains out of them - with the pockets at the top. And for both instead of using a curtain rod left to right - use one on each side going up and down. This way when pushed up either the bunch of fabric or the pockets would double as a header or valance.

Flooring - I found these neat vinyl tiles from the UK that have a photograph of different things.. One is gerber daisies, the other is grass, the third are little white daisies with a greenish middle.

So let me know what you think- postcards or jeans/with pockets?
Gerber daisies, lawn or white daises?

oooh we get to help decorate and on your dollar

Okay, I like the jeans idea. Really different than curtains... it will make the trailer uniquely your own.

AND grass! If it looks like grass, that would be cool too. Nothing like bringing the outside.. in, you don't have to mow it AND if you track real grass inside... no one will notice!

I really like the bright colour, the present flooring looks familiar and I really like the effect of the lines on the cushion treatment, takes the eyes up the side to the roof. Inspiring. Now if I can just sort out, insulation for our, re-seal the windows, then i might address the pink cabinetry. Yours is looking good.

I vote for grass on the floor to complement the bright yellow walls, and go with the denim jeans for curtains. It will look really neat and not clash with the pattern of your cushions.
(Just my personal opinion.)

Very innovative! I also vote for denim at the windows and 'grass tile' on the floor. Enjoy! LdB

Nice job so far, John. Looks cheery.

I vote for Jeans curtains, neat idea with the pockets. (Hey, I from the 60's)

I'd go with the Gerber Daisies for the floor, to pick up the orange in the cushion fabric.

Lookin good, keep up the good work!

I am with Francene, Gerber Daisy's! Though all those tiles are way cool. If you went for the Gerber tile you could do beaded curtains.................

Could you pass on the link to the tile manufacture? Thanks! Have fun decorating! Robin

I vote for daisy's and the jeans, oh can we please have a link! The daisy's would look GREAT with my black and white cow print seats and the pink and red curtains (I should say one red and two pink curtains) I could not choose so I went with clearance sheets to get rid of the mustard flower things
