Putting fan in Scamp

I know there are a gazillion threads on here about cutting a second hole in the Scamp's roof, but we REALLY don't want to do that. Please respond if you've been able to finagle a fan in the existing opening. Thanks!

Did not do it yet but the fans are sitting there ready to be installed.
My scamp has an escape hatch, and I did not want to lower the ceiling even more with a ceiling fan. I got 2 220mm case fans from newegg (Rosewill RCA-220-BL) they are slim enough to fit between the insect net and the hatch. Next I will use aluminum profiles to hold them above the net. Will report how it worked. These fans can only be run one direction and have no speed control, but since there is 2 I have 2 "speeds" and they are nice and quiet.
