reinforce frame??

My understanding is that IF the frames of fiberglass trailers fail/break, it's likely to be at the "bend" where side rails transition to hitch. Do any fail at other locations?

The frame on our Surfside is still true, but I'm thinking of adding frame reinforcement and a "tray" on the tongue (?) so I can carry additional weight. And also possibly extending the frame rails at the rear by approx. 9"-12" to accommodate a tray.

Thanks, Owen.
