Removing Dometic toilet from Parkliner

Has anybody tried removing the Dometic toilet from their Parkliner?

We never wanted ours, and now after enjoying our trailer for the past 7+ years without using the toilet, we'd like to remove it so we can use a port-a-potty instead while maintaining a simple gray-water tank.

We've tried removing the 2 mounting screws and were able to tip it back a bit but didn't see access to the other attachments like the water supply, electrical, and drain.

Any thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks!

Is yours the SeaLand macerator toilet?
I may have the installation instructions for it.

The water connection is in the corner closet, right front corner. Wiring too.

Ours is a 2016.

Hi Wayne,

Our trailer is a 2013 and we have the installation instructions too. Yes, its the Dometic/Sealand.

We can see the access but getting to it is the issue. We can see some of the attachments but getting a hand, let alone a tool, in there is proving pretty tricky, so wondered if anyone had successfully gotten in there.

We were looking at it again today and joked that we should just leave the toilet in place and just sell the trailer. It could be a bigger job than we thought!

Encouragement to remove toilet

Just giving you a “thumbs up” to removing traditional toilet. I have a composting one in mine and and so happy with the decision.
