Smile Replacing a mattress

Hi fellow RV'ers
Im new to the forum but have had trailers for many years. My wife and I just bought an older Bigfoot 5th wheel and are doing some upgrades for some expected travel miles to follow.

The mattress in the trailer was old and not comfortable so it is to be replaced. The trailer can fit a standard queen size mattress. I have been looking at foam mattresses like Purple, Casper, Puffy which would all fit and probably be more comfortable than a regular RV foamy bed.

I am wondering if any of you have experience with these conventional foam mattresses that are made for your house. They would not typically see the temperature fluctuations and poor ventilation in the offseason that would occur in an RV. Are they like sleeping on a brick when its cold? Are they hot when it is warm? Do they disintegrate from the temperature changes? Do they absorb moisture and never dry out? Has anyone had a memory foam mattress in their RV for a significant time and has an opinion as to its performance. Let me know what you think.
Thanks
Chris

p/o replaced our mattress

[our p/o put in a nice foam mattress but it was waaay too soft. he cut it to fit good idea also.

My solution I turned it all the way over found it was much stiffer and I get better sleep!

you just have to make sure to not go too soft in my in my opinon. you can check at stores!

good luck
