Replacing Scamp 13" windows how-to

I've searched quite a lot for a tutorial on removing and replacing the windows in our 2005 Scamp 13". I'm not yet sure that I need to do that but if I do I want to know how. They leak and that's likely because the soft parts have hardened over time. The weep holes and the channels are clean but I still get leaks at times. Anyway, if someone knows where there's a good how-to in written, photo, or video form please let me know, and thank you.

There are three different kinds of windows on each Scamp 13'.
Also, there are at least two different kinds of side windows that have been used over the years.

I've changes two out of the three so far on my 1977.

Which ones would you like more information on?

OK, those are too new to have been on my 1977 so I don't have any experience, sorry about that.

There is a window sealant that is a puffy and comes in a thin roll. Remove the window apply the puffy, it has like a 25 year life expectancy. I had to drill out the rivets and replaced them with stainless steel screws and locking nuts. Make sure any rubber gaskets are checked.

Also check rubber around the interior of the windows and structure cracks in case water is entering around the window fiberglass

That’s the stuff Butyl tape, check eBay sometimes you can save money

I have a roll of butyl tape. I used some around the roof vents. It seems to work well to seal leaks.

Remove frame from inside (screws not rivets) mine is 05 as well. Plan on at least a half day cleaning frames used acetone, goof off, extra. Only do ONE at a time as frames provide some support to the body replace the butyl tape and use NO SILICONE!
