Replacing the insulation liner in a 1970's Trillium

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some direction as to a good source to replace the interior insulation liner in a 1970's Trillium. The liner was removed by a previous restorer and I've been asked to assist the couple who have undertaken to restore it.

A while back, someone listed a source for either a replacement liner material or an alternative type of liner. I have done a couple of searches with no success and so I am appealing to the restoration community for some help.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

We used lizard skin. Iíve also heard of using spray on cork. ( not sure if that would go with you design).

There are several companies building/selling Trilliums out west, you can contact them.

Thank you! This has been helpful. My client is doing his research as am I. Living in Ottawa, Ontario, I suspect that I will have to visit (after Covid restrictions are lifted) the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario marinas for the marine headliner option. But I will also see if our local marine supply store can get it in.

Again, thank you for your help and suggestions.
