uploading photos

Hi Benny:

I suggest your photo be a jpeg, which is often the default format for digital camera. You then select Upload Photo from the box to the right, then follow the instructions, which requires you to locate the jpeg image of your trailer, then select Add File.

Worked for me!

Rick

Rick B.

very nice looking set-up, eh?

Benny - the file should be in jpeg (jpg) format and not bitmap (bmp). You can post a photo via the link on the left (while you post a message) that says UPLOAD PHOTO. Resize your photo to 500 pixels wide maximum. If you need a decent free photo program try irfanview 3.8

one more suggestion. when naming the photo DO NOT have any spaces or ' or ". these may work once and then never again or only for certain people or not at all and you've done everything else right.
so just don't do spaces or thingies and your better off. :yep

also-- if you save the link number that comes up in the new post or edit post page, everytime you want to show that picture, you just stick in that *number* and there the picture is. simple :crazy-ii

and also there is a thread down near the bottom of the form page that has tutorial. good stuff there.

Here's a pic of my 1974 13' Boler in the Cape Cod area. We awoke in the morning after a rain to 12" of water in our campsite!

Benny, good looking matching rig you have there. Camping in a flooding area would not be comforting. I assume you didn't know you would wake up ankle deep. Thanks That's something we need to remember.

Benny

Benny:

When I lived in Winnipeg, my entire house got surrounded by water, and unlike my Boler, the house had a basement. You can imagine the rest ...

I now live on a hillside, far above the valley, and water runs downhill!

Rick B Hi again....Leads me to believe that you lived south of the city. We live North. When we were at Cape Cod the person that was at the campground told us to expect thundershowers but didn`t tell us that we were in the lowest campsite.....Benny

Colin's Bigfoot

Hi Colin: Good looking Bigfoot. I see that it's a 19 footer. Being an '84 Bigfoot owner for about a year now, I didn't realize they made 19's in the 80's. Is the Floor plan similiar to the 17's (my 17 has the 15B17G plan)?

Actually, I lived in the north end of Winnipeg, about 2 blocks from the Red River. I worked in Selkirk, for over 7 years.

Pleasant weather here now, almost all snow melted, warm, windy days! ... Rick B

Confused

Okay... I'm confused. (Granted, it doesn't take much. ;) ) I added my posting the first time and it would not show up when I went to the last page -- even though the thread stated that I was the last person to post. So I added it again. Then BOTH postings showed up! (They were in the 9th page.) So I delete my first posting and the second one disappeared! Now there were only 8 pages and my posting/pictures did not appear. I'm going to post this and see if it will force the 9th page to show. Anyone else had this problem with this quirk in the system?

Nancy
