I used the awning and brackets to also hold the
solar panels on my 16' Scamp and I am posting two pictures that if you blow them up you can see how the brackets are mounted.
1. Temporarily bolt the two braces to the main piece.
2. find the spot on the curve that allows the main piece to be vertical when the brace feet are flat on the roof.
3. Temporarily mark these positions and check for what is inside of the trailer where the bolts will come through.
4. Find these spots that will align the awning with the trailer.
5. after you have met these alignment criterion you could temporarily assemble the awning to the bracket and check the fit.
With this and other reasons (like the Awning was mounted by Scamp for the sale price and they did it and some other work in one day in Bakus. Since we were fairly close at the time we had them install the awning for us.
