Wow! That is a really cute trailer. Reminds me of the one that was painted in the Disney theme. Happy travels.

That trailer is very, very cute however... In my opinion, nothing compares to your lightening paint job! I have always loved that since I first saw it on here!!!

Hi, the Scooby boler is mine, I'm Flo. Since you have posted these pics, two people have come up to me and said "Hey, I've seen your boler on the net"...kindda cool! We were camping in Fort langley and had all kinds of people dropping by, even had a young man (5 yr old probably) who walked right in and asked were scooby do was?.
Glad people are enjoying it, if it brings out a smile or two, it was all worth it!

Hi Flo, welcome to FGRV!

Are you sure those kiddie winks aren't coming in really looking for a Scooby Snack?

Cute idea, well executed.

Hi again, well, now that summer is over I can put up pictures of the inside. A lot of people have stopped us on the road for pics and questions. It's been a GREAT summer.

I just looked at your photo album and am impressed with the amount of work you've done. As above, 'well executed'.

I'm almost ready to start work on my 73 Boler American and looking at your door in the last pic it looks like you had the same degree of sag that I have. How did you fix that?

WOW, that's wonderful!
It looks like you did the decorations "freehand"? What kind of paint did you use? I'd really like to pretty our trailer up. Our finish is fine, all white, but sooooooo boring. I'm not much of an artist, though, and am worried I'd ruin it. I was thinking maybe stencils?

Hi, Thanks
Well, I did the painting myself with a pneumatic spray gun like they use in a
body shop. I am an Art teacher, so the freehand part was not too difficult for me.
I suggest you do a lot of research before you spruce up the outside. White might seem boring, but paint is a big job.
I met a lady who painted hers with a roller and it looked really good, I think you just have to know what you're doing , that''s all
Good luck to you

LOOKS FANTASTIC, IM just now trying to figure out my "theme" and am not having a great time of it, i tow with a hunter green honda odyssey and will hope to sorta match it up but not sure,

Where do you find someone that does work like that or did you do it your self!!!

I love the lightning one as well,

Seems to me not too many actuall paint the outsides of their trailers... ive only seen a handfull, are there more out there? I think it would be great riding down the road with flower power, lady bug, lady in the scamp, Faberge or whatever painted on the trailer.

Valerie,
In case you haven't seen them before, you'll probably enjoy looking at the Cowgirl Caravan campers. Most are not "eggs" but they have some great themes. Here's a link:

Sandra,

Thanks very much for the link to Cowgirl Caravan campers. An impressive collection of vintage trailers...and some fiberglass too! Lots of imaginative decorations.
