screen door for 1978 boler 1700

I bought a renovated 1978 boler 1700 last fall (so excited!) and am wondering about making a screen door. I need something that will keep bugs outside and doggos inside, so the magnetic screens and cool hanging bead curtains I've seen won't work. For those who have an actual door, do you like it/use it? Bi-fold or regular door? I could *maybe* DIY one, but would seriously consider purchase if not too expensive. Skeeters are fierce around here! All info & ideas welcomed.

Try Boler.ca for lots of Boler info. There were screen door dimensions a few years ago. Hope that helps.

I've added "Hardware Cloth" (metal wire mesh of 1/4" or 1/2" squares) to a door screen, which has been effective at keeping the screen and my dog in place.

thanks Gmindy & JFA! Birdy has been in the shop getting her windows all sealed up and I'll hopefully have her back in the next week or so - dreaming of getting all the things done, including the door - so we're ready when spring finally comes.
