Sealing seams in Boler interior

I am refinishing the interior of my Boler and need to replace the seam sealers on the interior cover. I plan on painting the interior. Can someone give information on what to use?
Thanks

On ensolite I use latex calk to fill the cracks and texture the surface with a sponge or towel and then prime and paint. I think Scamp used double sided sticky foam tape and they applied power to the outer surface to kill the stickyness.
I just worked on a Scamp with rat fur and it looked like they covered the seams with about 2" wide strips of rat fur. It appeared to me that these strips were held on by hot glue.

I used caulk too, but it shrank and now all of the seams look like crap. I will order the seam tape from Scamp parts and do it right next time.

This may be too feminine for you Darrell, but you could use some other pattern... check out this!

Has anyone else had problems with the caulk shrinking? or any stories of it lasting a good while? Brand?
